Our tungsten carbide burrs are made from virgin raw materials, allowing them to be hardened to HRA 89–91. The sintering process is performed in a pressure furnace to minimize porosity and ensure maximum hardness. Manufacturers using recycled material and vacuum sintering cannot achieve the same level of hardness.
Silver brazing is used instead of the copper brazing often employed by other manufacturers, as silver brazing can be performed at a lower temperature that does not affect the concentricity and hardness of the burr and shank.
