With this ratchet piston spreader, the steel plates remain parallel, allowing for easy compression of single, dual, and quad piston brake calipers. Pistons are less likely to jam as they are kept parallel and pushed straight back into the caliper bore.
Insert the tool into the caliper and ratchet the piston(s) out of the way. Even with limited access, it will be easy to find the right angle to insert the tool, as the handle rotates 360 degrees.
